What factors hindered African American progress in 1865 to 1929?

With the northern win in the civil war, African Americans original exemption in 1865; things seemed that they could only get better. Reconstruction was the start issue of the time, but in 1877, the coming geezerhood looked bleak. With the reconstructive memory running at full steam, African Americans were granted an facts of liveliness and an adequate income, amongst other things. However, with the Republicans triumph over the Democrats the support for grey blacks; this was the demise of the reconstruction. This followed on through until 1929, even with the introduction of tonic rights for blacks, such as literacy qualifications in 1890 for voting. This segregation of African Americans appeared in most places for precedent it could be seen on trains to restaurants and churches to parks, it was endless. The discrimination position on the blacks in the so uthern states clearly affected their jump o! n to real freedom quite dramatically.
